(1) The purpose of mud zero-discharge:
With the improvement of environmental requirements, the previous practice of directly landfilling drilling mud has not met environmental requirements, and there is also a lot of waste in chemical agents (such as barite) added in the past drilling process. Therefore, the main purpose of the mud zero-discharge system is to solve the problems of solidifying and transporting the waste drilling fluid to a designated site for processing and recycling useful materials (such as oil in oil-based mud) in the drilling fluid.
 
(2) Equipment integration of drilling mud zero-discharge:
The mud zero-discharge system can be divided into two categories according to the types of drilling fluids: water-based mud zero-discharge treatment system and oil-based mud zero-discharge treatment system. The water-based mud zero-discharge equipment includes: high-speed drilling fluid centrifuge (with screw pump), drilling fluid Hi-G dryer, drilling fluid filter press, screw conveyor, dosing unit, mud tank and cuttings box. The oil-based mud zero-discharge equipment includes: high-speed drilling fluid centrifuge (with screw pump), cuttings dryer, dosing device, screw conveyor and cuttings box.
 


(3) The process flow of drilling mud zero-discharge:
The water-based mud zero-discharge: the mud to be treated is transported to the drilling fluid Hi-G dryer through the manifold, and the treated mud enters the drilling fluid centrifuge through the screw pump for further processing, and the treated mud enters the mud tank and is stirred and then injected into the mud circulation system. The waste left in the process is transported to the drilling fluid filter press through the screw conveyor for further drying. Finally, the solids coming out of the filter press are sent to the cuttings box and transported out of the site for landfilling or other treatment.
 
The oil-based mud zero-discharge: the drilling mud to be treated is transported to the cuttings dryer, and the treated drilling mud is sent to the drilling fluid centrifuge for further processing. The liquid mud treated by the drilling fluid centrifuge is re-injected into the mud circulation system. The treated waste is transported to the cuttings box.
