KOSUN DC450L Decanter Centrifuges Delivered to Azerbaijan for Existing Solids Control System Upgrade

Recently, KOSUN completed a new delivery of DC450L decanter centrifuges and compatible screens for a project in Azerbaijan. The equipment has now left the KOSUN facility and is on its way to the project site.

The customer will add the DC450L decanter centrifuges to an existing solids control system. The new equipment will provide additional solid-liquid separation capacity for the site.

Project Background: Expanding an Existing Solids Control System

Drilling conditions can change during field operations. Changes in drilling fluid properties and processing volumes can also affect treatment requirements.

For an existing solids control system, adding standalone equipment can increase processing capacity without replacing the complete system.

The customer chose DC450L decanter centrifuges for this system expansion. The KOSUN technical team worked with the customer before delivery. Together, they confirmed the equipment interfaces, operating parameters, and screen specifications.

KOSUN then matched the equipment configuration with the customer’s existing system. This preparation will support smooth integration at the project site.

KOSUN Solution: From Equipment Manufacturing to System Matching

Equipment performance is only one part of a system expansion. The new equipment must also work with the existing process and equipment configuration.

KOSUN manufactured the DC450L decanter centrifuges for the project. The team also confirmed the specifications and configuration of the accompanying screens.

Before shipment, the technical team reviewed the key parameters with the customer. This process helped KOSUN prepare the new equipment for integration with the existing solids control system.

Project Update: Equipment Shipped to Azerbaijan

KOSUN completed the final inspection and delivery preparation before shipment. The team followed the company’s quality management procedures for overseas projects.

The DC450L decanter centrifuges and accompanying screens are now in transit to Azerbaijan.

After the equipment arrives, the KOSUN project team will provide installation guidance and commissioning support. The team will also provide technical assistance based on the customer’s needs.

This delivery highlights KOSUN’s ability to expand existing solids control systems with standalone equipment. It also demonstrates KOSUN’s experience in equipment matching and overseas project support.
