The main purpose of the mud zero discharge system is to solidify and treat the drilling waste, so that it can be quickly transported to the designated location for environmental protection treatment and recycling after construction.

According to the type of drilling fluid mud, the mud zero discharge system can be divided into two categories: water-based mud zero discharge processing system and oil-based mud mud zero discharge processing system. Among them, the main equipment of the water-based mud zero discharge processing system includes: high-speed drilling fluid centrifuge, drilling fluid shale shaker, drilling hydraulic filter, screw conveyor, dosing unit, mud tank and cuttings box. The equipment that oil-based mud mud zero discharge processing system includes: high-speed drilling fluid centrifuge, cuttings dryer (also called cuttings dryer), dosing device, screw conveyor, cuttings box.

Water-based mud zero discharge processing system: the mud to be treated is transported to the drilling fluid drying screen through the manifold, the treated mud enters the drilling fluid centrifuge through the screw pump for further treatment, and the treated mud is injected into the mud circulation system for recycling. The waste left in the treatment process is transported to the drilling hydraulic filter by the screw conveyor for further processing, and finally the solid materials from the filter press are sent to the cuttings box and transported to the designated location for processing.

Oil-based mud mud zero discharge processing system: the drilling fluid mud to be treated is transported to the drilling cuttings dryer (drilling cuttings dryer), and the treated drilling fluid mud is transported to the drilling fluid centrifuge for further processing, and the drilling fluid centrifuge is finished. The latter mud liquid is re-injected into the mud circulation system. The treated waste is transported to the cuttings bin.
