KOSUN recently dispatched a full set of customized oil drilling mud storage and treatment systems for an Algerian client from its Xi’an manufacturing base. The shipment includes 32 truckloads of equipment. The equipment will be transported by ocean freight from the ports of Lianyungang and Shanghai. It is scheduled for delivery to the project site in Algeria.
This integrated solution covers three key operational stages. These include mud station storage and distribution, mud purification and solids control, and environmentally friendly zero-discharge mud waste treatment. These functions support full lifecycle management and closed-loop processing of drilling mud. Together, they provide oilfield operators with a comprehensive and integrated solution.

The Algeria project features KOSUN’s independently developed drilling mud storage and treatment system. The client imposed exceptionally high standards for equipment reliability, environmental adaptability, process accuracy, and production capacity. The region’s harsh working conditions, including extreme temperatures and heavy-duty operational demands, drove these exceptionally high standards.
Three Core Functional Modules: Solving Industry Pain Points
To meet client needs precisely, KOSUN assembled a dedicated project team. The system comprises three core modules:
– Mud Purification Module: Efficiently purifies drilling and workover fluids, ensuring stable drilling conditions.
– Zero-Discharge Environmental Treatment Module: Uses solid-liquid separation, oil-water separation, wastewater purification, and resource recovery to reduce environmental impact.
– Mud Station Module: Handles recovery of used mud, preparation of new mud, and centralized storage for continuous supply.

All 32 truckloads successfully completed production and quality inspection, ready for safe ocean transport.
