The vertical cyclone desilter is a highly efficient solid-liquid separation device, mainly used to remove fine sludge,
suspended solids and other low-density solid particles from liquids. It is widely applied in industries such as oil drilling,
mining and mineral processing, sewage treatment, and chemical engineering. Compared with the desander cyclone,
the desilter is more focused on handling finer particles (typically 5-74μm), and is suitable for scenarios such as slurry purification and liquid refinement.
Working principle of vertical cyclone desilter:
The liquid-mixed mud and sand enter the cyclone tangentially. Under the action of the centrifugal force generated by high-speed rotation,
the denser mud particles are thrown towards the wall of the cyclone and slide down along the cone to the bottom outlet for discharge,
while the clean liquid overflows from the top outlet. By adjusting the feed pressure and the size of the underflow port,
the separation particle size can be controlled to achieve sludge removal of different precisions.
Product advantages of vertical cyclone desilter
It can separate fine particles larger than 5μm, and the sludge removal efficiency can reach 85% to 95%.
2. Vertical structure, small floor space, suitable for modular integration.
3. Lined with polyurethane, ceramic or high-chromium alloy, it is suitable for highly abrasive and corrosive media.
4. Driven by the fluid's own pressure, it saves energy and reduces consumption.
5. Optimize the separation effect by adjusting the feed pressure and the size of the underflow port.
Application fields of vertical cyclone desilter
Purification of oil/gas drilling fluid mud, removal of drill cuttings and fine mud.
2. Pulp classification, tailings concentration and fine particle recovery in mining and mineral processing.
3. Industrial wastewater sludge removal, river dredging, and sludge concentration.
4. Fine filtration of chemical liquid raw materials, such as chemical slurries.
