Trenchless mud recovery system: A dual innovator of engineering efficiency and environmental protection

In the underground veins of urban construction, trenchless construction is like a precise "underground scalpel", while mud treatment is the key "logistics line" to ensure the smooth progress of the operation.
The extensive mode of traditional mud treatment has made resource waste, environmental risks and construction delays the pain points of the project. The emergence of the trenchless mud recovery system,
with its scientific closed-loop process, has brought about a dual breakthrough in efficiency and environmental protection for the industry.
Closed-loop process: The precise link for the "rebirth" of mud
The process of the trenchless mud recovery system is closely linked. At the start of the project, the mud produced by the drilling system first enters the mud pit for temporary storage, and then is conveyed to the vibrating screen by the feed pump to initially separate the solid phase (such as soil and debris) from the liquid phase (the main body of the mud). The liquid-phase slurry enters the liquid supply chamber of the desander and is sent to the desander for further desanding by the liquid supply pump. The separated solid phase is conveyed to the centralized accumulation point through the three-sided tank, while the liquid phase flows to the liquid supply chamber of the desander. Then, the liquid phase is fed into the deslimer by the liquid supply pump for deep desliming, while the solid phase is collected at the centralized accumulation point through the three-sided tank. The purified liquid phase is stored in the slurry storage tank. Subsequently, the slurry mixing device, with the help of the slurry mixing pump, extracts the liquid phase from the slurry storage tank silo, combines it with the required added materials, and mixes the slurry that meets the construction requirements. Then, it is sent back to the slurry storage tank silo by the liquid supply pump, and finally transported to the drilling system for recycling by the slurry pump. The entire process is clear and orderly, achieving an efficient closed loop of "recycling - purification - reuse" of the mud.
Multi-scenario adaptation: The "Master Key" to Engineering Challenges
1. Urban pipeline renovation: An Environmentally friendly solution for narrow Spaces
The renovation of old urban pipe networks often causes construction sites to be squeezed by roads and buildings, resulting in limited space. The trenchless mud recovery system is compactly laid out, eliminating the need for large-scale mud stacking. The solid phase is centrally piled up without occupying land, and the liquid phase is recycled and purified, preventing mud overflow and pollution of the municipal environment. It ensures that during construction in residential and commercial areas, the environment is clean and the residents' lives are not disturbed, making the "minimally invasive repair" of the pipeline network greener.
2. Long-distance pipeline crossing: Efficiency Guarantee for long-distance construction
Long-distance pipeline crossing projects for oil and gas and water transmission often cover tens of kilometers, with large amounts of mud and high circulation requirements. The trenchless mud recovery system continuously purifies and mixes the mud, stably supplying the mud needed for drilling. There is no need to frequently stop the pump to change the mud, maintaining the continuity of construction. Even when crossing complex geological conditions (such as sandy soil layers and alternating rock strata), the performance of the slurry treated by the system is stable, which helps the drill bit to break rocks and remove slag efficiently, significantly shortening the construction period and reducing the resource consumption and cost of long-distance construction.
3. Underground Excavation for Rail Transit: The quality Guardian for High-Demand Construction
The underground excavation construction of subways and urban rail transit has strict requirements for mud wall protection and settlement control. The trenchless mud recovery system precisely regulates the density and viscosity of the mud, building a solid "liquid shield" for the stability of the working face and reducing the risk of stratum settlement. Meanwhile, closed-loop treatment prevents the random discharge of mud, safeguards the groundwater level and geological structure of the city, makes the construction of rail transit safer and more environmentally friendly, and lays a solid foundation for the "city on rails".
4. Communication pipeline laying: A cost-cutting tool for small-scale projects
Non-excavation laying of communication pipelines in residential areas and industrial parks, with small project scales but large quantities. The modular design of the trenchless mud recovery system enables flexible deployment, allowing for efficient recovery of small volumes of mud and reducing the costs of new mud procurement and waste mud treatment. Even with frequent site changes, the system that can be quickly disassembled and assembled is adapted to different construction points, allowing small projects to enjoy the dual benefits of environmental protection and cost optimization, and promoting cost reduction and efficiency improvement in communication infrastructure.

Whether it is the laying of urban underground pipe networks, the trenchless crossing of communication cables, or the construction of long-distance oil and gas pipelines, the trenchless mud recovery system produced by Xi 'an KOSUN can be adapted. Under different geological conditions and project scales, its flexible process and adjustable processing links can specifically meet the demands, making it a "capable assistant" for all kinds of trenchless projects.
